Community Events

As part of our mission, the ladies of BWC work together to make a difference in our community. Our area has been coined with the popular term; "The Seven Cities", so we started here at home and we are working on expanding to other parts of Virginia. A few of our community projects is local car washes, sponsoring graduating seniors for Prom, community clean up & providing hygiene supplies to those in need. 

We also participate in community events sponsored by other local businesses, non-profits & organizations, such as game nights, vendor events, charity functions and summer activities for children including back to school supply drives. 

Strengthening our community & leading by example for others to follow is a major contributing factor to executing our mission, making an impact and leaving our BWC stamp in the world we live in.

April 26, 2024 - Prom Season Experience Winner Announced

If you know of a deserving senior in Hampton Roads, VA whose wish is to attend their Prom but may need some assistance; you can enter them in a drawing to receive a full Prom experience sponsored by BWC. The winners will receive services listed in the packages indicted on the flyer. 

Entry fee is only $5.00 and you can scan the QR code on the right to submit your entry. When submitting your entry, please indicate the Senior's first & last name in the Subject line. Along with your QR code entry, please email us at baddieswithclass@gmail.com with your reasoning for why your senior is deserving of such an experience. This drawing is open to all graduating seniors in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk & Virginia Beach. (Senior must meet qualifications)

May 4, 2024 - Annual Car Wash

We are looking for volunteers for this event. Although we are all empowered women, for this even we would like to have some men attend to help out with the car wash as well. If you would like to come out to volunteer and get to know the current members of BWC, send us an email  baddieswithclass@gmail.com  with your name & phone number. 

Summer 2024 (TBA) - Back to School Supply Drive

We will begin collecting school supply donations May 15, 2024. Our school supply drive is slightly different from the norm; instead of issuing school supplies to children, we have decided to collect and provide school supplies to teachers at various schools. We understand that teachers are tasked with paying out of pocket for supplies for many of their students during the school year and we want to relieve some of that pressure from a few teachers in our community. We will be distributing all supplies collected to as many teachers as possible this summer for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. We need your help to make this a major success. You can purchase and donate school supplies in person or you can send a monetary donation using the BWC QR code and our Founding Members will do the shopping for you. Each monetary donation will receive recognition on our social media, website and in a formal letter to the recipient of the supplies unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous. To submit a monetary donation for the supply drive, simply scan the QR code to the right and enter BWC Supply Drive 2024 in the subject line. If you elect to purchase and donate supplies in person, please reach out to us via email so we can schedule a date, time & location to meet with you.
